AdTI talks, the IMF listens
On March 11, we posted, and on March 14, UPI published a warning from Senior Fellow Gregory Fossedal, encouraging the International Monetary Fund to question Argentina's coup d'ebtat. "Issue a joint statement...," he wrote, "saying the Fund does not accept the debt swap." On March 15, the IMF issued a statement warning of the need to respect global investors. Kudos to Messrs. Rato and Dawson of the Fund, and to Mr. Fossedal.
